On Saturday, May 1st, Sea Isle City held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new fishing pier and kayak launch located near 60th Street at the Dealy Field athletic and recreation complex. The new pier has been dedicated in the memory of former Sea Isle City commissioner James Iannone.
The boardwalk-style pier that extends 132 feet out into the bay was installed by EZ Docks South of Ocean View, New Jersey. The wooden pier is handicap accessible and features the EZ Dock Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliant Kayak Launch for universal access.
You can now conveniently park directly next to the pier, allowing for very easy access for fishing, kayaking, turtle watching, or a nice view of the ocean.
